About FCA Cheer Huddles

FCA Cheer Huddles

Want to start a huddle in your school or at your local cheer gym?

You've come to the right place!

1. What is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Cheer Huddle?

An FCA Cheer Huddle is a time of fellowship where anyone from your school or local cheer gym can come together to be encouraged, equipped and empowered to use their sport to impact their world for Jesus Christ. The huddle is personally designed to meet the specific needs of your gym. The huddle can meet once a week, once every other week, or once a month, for 15-20 minutes to present athletes and coaches, and whom they influence the challenge and adventure of serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Contact the Fellowship of Christian Athlete's Executive Cheerleading Director, Marilou Braswell,

at mbraswell@fca.org or 706-254-4770 to get your huddle started or ask questions.

We are here to serve your ministry needs.

3. Have one person from the school or gym fill out the Ministry Leadership Application.

 Just go to mla.fca.org

4. The local FCA staff will register your FCA huddle with the FCA National Support Center in KC, MO.

You  will then be sent a start -up packet.

5. Marilou will connect you with a local FCA staff in your area.

They will come along side you and schedule a training meeting with your student leadership and a coach or volunteer that you designate as the Huddle Coach. Together you will decide on a start date for your Huddle to begin.

6. There are many resources available to you for huddles such as fcaresources.com and fca.org.

They have devotionals, Bible studies, skit ideas, videos, icebreakers, and much more. We have an FCA cheer logo for you to utilize as well.
