Cissy is the founder and CEO of Hometowne Communities, a development and property management firm specializing in quality market rate apartments. She has also been the developer for the acquisition and rehab of eight multifamily housing communities in Texas and Georgia. While focusing her efforts on consulting in the acquisition and rehab of senior living communities, Cissy retains ownership in family owned businesses which currently manage fifty-five communities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Honduras Outreach, Inc. and the Regional Advisory Council for Apartment Life. She and her husband of over 25 years, Ted, have three children: Hunt, 22; Ali, 20; and Jessica, 18. Cissy and her family attend Athens Church, and reside in the Athens, Georgia area.
